What does the onboarding process look like?

1Project Initiation

Upon contract commencement, a dedicated EPM implementation consultant is assigned to manage the onboarding project. Initial onboarding communications include provision of login credentials for EPM’s secure online platform, which houses all required onboarding documentation and templates.

2Data Import and Validation

Upon receipt of the completed dataset in the required format, EPM imports the data into the payroll environment and initiates a two-phase validation process

3BACS Setup and Payment Configuration

To ensure payment readiness, EPM links the client’s BACS Service User Number (SUN) and completes a test transaction (“penny test”) to confirm operational integrity of payment routing.

4Platform Training and User Enablement

Targeted training sessions are delivered to key personnel on the use of The Portal by the implementation team – EPM’s secure client interface

5Payroll Preparation and Pre-Authorisation Checks

EPM prepares the draft payroll cycle and uploads pre-authorisation reports for customer review

6Service Completion and Operational Readiness

With successful execution of the first live payroll, onboarding is deemed complete. Clients receive confirmation of service activation, and full access to EPM’s payroll support team for ongoing assistance.
